ElectroLab brings to our sunny shores Norway's electronica scene courtesy of Erlend Øye. Øye started off doing Joy Division covers in a band called Skog in Bergen, his home town. He then made his name as part of an indie acoustic duo Kings of Convenience.

This Norwegian geek pop genius soon transferred his sensibilities to an elegant and melancholic electronic format. After collaborating with fellow Norwegians Röyksopp, Øye began working on his solo project as a DJ and spent several years in Berlin and travelling around the world. His solo album, Unrest, was recorded in ten different cities with different electronica artists such as Metro Area, Prefuse 73 and Schneider TM. Øye sings over records while dancing or sometimes,
while playing an acoustic guitar. In the clichéd world of the DJ, there's simply no one like him.

Zouk club's rising star resident DJ Sonny will grace the decks and open the evening. Sonny ranked 170th in the world by UK's prestige magazine - DJ Mag, gaining international status by becoming South East Asia's first ever DJ to be recognized worldwide. Sonny anchors his monthly signature You..! nights, which is responsible for pioneering the electro-house sound in Singapore, currently growing strength to strength each month with a full turnout on the dance floor.
