VocalS & Beats

Verve Enharmonics, an a relatively young a capella group, performs an eclectic repertoire of jazz-, pop-, and R&B-inspired tunes.

The voice can do many things, and this is so expertly demonstrated by Juz b. Just back from the Asian A Cappella Festival 2005 in Taiwan, this Malay a capella group performs their signature R&B arrangements with great panache.

This is going to be one cool session. Aya Sekine, Maya Nova and coll.eff (collective effervescence) show what it is to chill out with their out-of-the-box jazz.

Consider this a showcase of Singapore's music titans. Jazz Fingers boasts the talent of Rick Smith (jazz guitar), Christy Smith (double bass), Paul Ponnudorai (guitar), Andrew Lim (guitar), Mei Sheum (keyboard) and Nial Djuliarso (piano).

Flamenco rocks, it really does, in the hands Singapore cajon player Bobby Singh, who joins fellow musicians, Larry Francis, Caroline Francis, Munir and Nasir in this presentation of pop Spanish music. Singer Satsuki Nagatome and flamenco guitarists, Christopher Tan and Indrasani up the passion quotient. Providing the visual interpretation are guest dancers from the Singapore Flamenco Circle.
