He's had five Grammy nominations, played with greats like Billy Cobham, Miles Davis, Jaco Pastorious, Victor Wooten, Michael Brecker and Joe Henderson, and released many critically-acclaimed albums. More importantly, he has added punch and vitality to the world of jazz with his expressive, versatile, powerhouse playing and inspired pyrotechnics. He is celebrated fusion-jazz guitarist/composer/bandleader Mike Stern and his is not music for the faint-hearted.

Playing with his band, Mike Stern leads with vigour but gives every member space to explore and shine. The addition of drummer and longtime colleague Dave Weckl gives the band an added kick with cutting-edge drumming by the legendary musician. Of Chick Corea Elektric Band fame, Dave, who also leads his own acclaimed band, has received numerous accolades and honours including being inducted by Modern Drummer into their Hall of Fame and named "one of the 25 best drummers of all time".
