2007 marks the 40th anniversary of the death of one of the 20th century's most controversial, spiritual and best loved musicians - John Coltrane.

The Trio builds their vibrant and joyful style on the fresh compositional voice of Tim O'Dwyer and the forceful and dynamic rhythm section of Clayton Thomas and Darren Moore. Here, the trio presents modern intepretations of Coltrane's late period works in collaboration with Singapore-based jazz keyboardist Aya Sekine and Melbourne-based sound and audio-visual artist Robin Fox. The Trio recently toured to Poland where they performed at the Brave Festival with Singapore's Gamelan Asmaradana to full houses and standing ovations.
