Sincere, heartfelt and awfully sweet, Tristan Prettyman’s music is said to be one of today’s most remarkable musical finds. The 23-year-old singer-songwriter and former surfwear model burst onto the Californian music scene only a few years ago. Her music is a lighter kind of 90s folk-pop with simple arrangements and heartwarming lyrics of love and twenty-something life delivered in her lilting voice and quiet guitar.

Born and raised in the laidback Californian beach town of Del Mar, Tristan grew up surrounded by music, and then at the age of 15, when her half-brother’s friend passed her a tape of Ani DiFranco’s music, something clicked within her. Since then, she has performed in many North County bars, cafes and Californian clubs, toured with Jason Mraz, and released an album of all-original songs. The singer-songwriter’s Virgin Records debut – appropriately dubbed t w e n t y t h r e e – was well received by the public and is garnering a growing fanbase.
